Overview

This course is suitable for a wide range of educators, prospective educators and other professionals working in the field of English language teaching and leads to a postgraduate qualification in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). It will prepare you for a wide range of language-related professional contexts in Australia and internationally, and will enable you to operate with confidence in a changing and increasingly internationalised world.

This course will assist you in understanding the connections between theory and practice and the importance of developing strong evidence-based principles in English language teaching and learning. Graduates of the course have been successful in finding employment as language teachers and translators, and are also employed in TESOL leadership roles, such as director of studies, language school founder and curriculum developer, in local, national and international locations.
