Synopsis
This unit affirms and builds on professional knowledge and theories of pedagogy to develop and upgrade the skills needed to function as effective teachers of TESOL in a variety of contexts. You will be developing topic-based activities that critically explore effective classroom interaction, multimodal technologies, language development and assessment practices. You will demonstrate these skills by conducting a needs analysis, developing and implementing plans for learning, and evaluating your ability to work collaboratively and autonomously in meeting EAL/EFL learners’ needs.
