Synopsis
This unit builds on your understanding of the role of the pharmacist and the expectations and structure of the Australian health care system. It introduces key components of a standardised approach to patient-centred care, including problem-solving in clinically-oriented situations. You will further develop skills in effective communication with patients and prescribers. You will demonstrate safe and systematic procedures for the supply of medicines and the provision of professional advice.
