Collaborative design studio 3
COL2001
Synopsis
Collaborative Design 3 builds upon the foundational skills developed in earlier units, challenging you to apply collaborative design methodologies through an inquiry-based approach. You will explore real-world and speculative challenges, examining how systems such as education, food production, and finance influence individuals and communities. Projects will require a mix of individual and collaborative work, as you co-design products, services, or experiences that respond to these system-level issues. In addition to expanding your technical skills using traditional and emerging technologies, you will engage in critical reflection on how multiple perspectives inform the design process. The design outcomes you produce will aim to generate understanding and promote discourse around the complexities of societal challenges.
